A US Court of Appeals extended a temporary order blocking 10

companies, which include Teva and Mylan, from launching generic versions of Eli Lilly's Strattera (atomoxetine) while it considers the drugmaker's broader appeal of an earlier patent ruling related to the attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder drug.

The court extended the temporary order, which was scheduled to expire in two weeks, to allow the court to consider whether copies should be banned until the appeal is decided.

Strattera generated sales of $445.6 million in the US last year.
